UTI Factories, Corporate Bullshit, and the World Series

So many things have changed since the last time I posted 17 days ago. Grandma has been in the same UTI Factory since getting released from the hospital. She is set to be released on Tuesday and will finally be able to come home. I took a bit of a break from constantly updating here because it seemed like, every other day, the complete trajectory of my life was changing so rapidly. In a way, it was almost starting to feel like I was writing fiction. And yet, there are so many things from the year that I haven't addressed, either. I have never discussed it here, but I hinted at it in a prior post. With each passing day, you get a little more insight into everything, and it's starting to become clearer to me that I never really took the time necessary to sit down, process, deal with, and find closure regarding my mother's attempted suicide in August.
