Week 42 of 2026

Felt like I really benefited from having last week off work, and that feeling lasted about an hour into my Monday morning. Turns out a lot happened last week so I spent most of this week trying to process change while keeping on top of my own work. I had another basketball game this week, playing for Worthing D&D White in a 64-80 loss to Shoreham Spartans. Didn't get much court time in this one, playing about 2 minutes before subbing myself out so we didn't have players with a DNP (did not play). A very frustrating game to have to watch given how well the same group of players played last week. Not sure I even touched the ball while I was on the court. Two Brighton games at the American Express stadium to enjoy this week. The first on Thursday was the first of Brighton's "league phase" games in the Europa Conference league. Brighton won 4-0 against Lithuania's Kauno Zalgiris. Once the first goal went in it seemed inevitable that there would be more goals. Very hard to judge the…
