Hey Jude by The Beatles

A song you’ve seen performed live, or would really like to see performed live? Nnaaaaaa na na naa na na naaaa This track fits the brief perfectly. I was lucky enough to be lying near the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury one sunny afternoon. I was fairly stoned, and just enjoying the grass under my feet and the blue skies over head. Between bands the PA pumps out music and it was from here that I heard it performed live, by several thousand people, a choir of the great unwashed, murmuring their way through the verses until that chorus hit. It was glorious, one of those moments that stuck in my mind. Glastonbury was a wonderful place, somewhere to escape from the world (even if the outside world voted for Brexit that weekend).
