10.05 – 10.11

Life Darek the increasingly flakey builder failed to visit on any of the four occasions he’d said he would. I don’t mind too much, but the kids could really do with a bath at this point. Still, he says he’s definitely coming tomorrow… Αα appears to be friends with the lady she previously had non-specific beef with at nursery which will hopefully equate to drop-offs no longer being quite such a ball-ache. Now that we have a functioning oven once more, I finally got round to begging some sodo starter off the Dusty Knuckle bakery and I made what was frankly an unfeasibly good loaf of bread. Ηη insisted on running the grown up parkrun course with me after his session at the climbing wall on Saturday, then went to junior parkrun on Sunday, followed by running endlessly in two parks in the afternoon. I think he’s probably covered more than 20k this weekend – his boundless energy would confound medical science (and fills me with pride/envy). I felt quite productive at work moving us over to…
