Putting the Pub in Public Philosophy 0 ▲ Daily Nous 1 hour ago · Culture · hide · 0 comments The Plough and Stars, a pub in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has begun hosting “philosophy nights”, and they’re a hit. While there is a high concentration of academic and academic-friendly folks in the Boston area, there are other dining establishments in the world where people go to occasionally listen to or discuss philosophy with philosophers. It would be good to hear about these, what they’re like, and how they’re doing. So tell us about the public philosophy going on in the bars and restaurants in your neck of the woods.
