Rambling on blogging

Thinking very much about if/how I flee back to safer ground with my blogging after my last 2 posts on this site. I already limit what I write about on BearBlog. So what to do... Do I continue blogging and bear (lol) the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune (to misquote the Bard). Or take up arms and move to self hosted blogging with its sea of troubles. There is also a certain amount of publishing vs personal conflict. I started aiming to write a personal blog interspersed with history essays. Then getting my first taste of toxic Bear bloggers quite early on, restricted myself to only the history essays. Then the orchids crept in, another interest but starting to get into the realms of the personal. Then blogs about books and bookswaps/bookcrossing because that was something in my mind and I wanted to write about it and still do. Sticking with the Hamlet, therein came the rub.
