2026-10-07Hello!This might be wonky speak, but I'm challenging myself to find something interesting without giving away the photo spot. If I have to depend on a local landmark to make the photo interesting, I'm not exercising creative muscles and making original work. Find something mundane and ordinary, make it photo-worthy.I found this lump of metal on a rack for some event project, as material to construct a stage or a banner or something. They were stacked so cleanly I had to capture a photo of it. The gaps between the bars create a large-scale moiré pattern with reflected sunlight shining through the holes.Since the metal bars were gray and the angle of the sun wasn't appealing, I neglected to turn off my extreme ISO settings. This is still a monochrome image with a high digital gain, and the noise is especially apparent in the darker areas Thank you for visiting this blog!
