I’ve bought one of those digital picture frame, and I added the picture folders that I’ve sorted through to it. When my husband and I were watching the slideshow, this picture came up, and I sighed, “I thought I’d already sorted these, but boy, it needs another pass!” We both laughed, and continued to watch the slideshow. Then just now my insomniac mind wanted to continue sorting, and I opened one folder in concerts to find this picture, and suddenly I was flooded with memories. April 2015, during a festival called Motel Mozaique in Rotterdam, we went to see a band called the Notwist. I had never heard of them, but we went based on the description of them in the program. It was an amazing concert, so exhillirating! I danced like a madwoman (oh those days of having energy!) The memory captured in a blurry picture is one that stays in the folder, because, good grief, it may be one of the best pictures I’ve ever taken, a picture depicting pure joy.
