Yellowstone arrival 1 ▲ Chris Glass 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone are really close together — it just takes an hour on the John D. Rockefeller, Jr., Memorial Parkway to move between the two National Parks. It’s a lovely little drive along rivers and framed by trees. Not sponsored: I only know the name of this stretch of road because of an app called Guide Along. It offers audio tours triggered by location and lets you know what’s coming up with history along the way. Highly recommended, even at $20 a pop. Saw some otters along the way. They were screaming at each other for some reason or another. But I get it. I’d also go around screaming at this point in time, much to my chagrin. A small “raft” of North American river otters We arrived at Yellowstone late in the afternoon, just in time to see Old Faithful spritz the landscape before settling into an evening without cellular or wifi connectivity. Bliss. Currently Listening: Genesis “The Serpent”Reply via email No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
