Emerald Island Redux

Preparing an adventure for play in a week or two. This is an example of my approach for writing an adventure treatment ahead of time. When the game is scheduled, I will map out the locales and let my imagination spread its wings! OverviewYou are newly ascended Journeyman Heroes in the Guild who have sailed to Emerald Island for your first official job as Heroes. The island is protected by a mist that can only be traversed by those who know its true name. A man who claims to be an escaped slave from an invisible Red Planet has warned the people of Emerald Island of a coming army from his home world, Marz. He claims that when the Red Planet reveals itself and appears over Rem, the Marzians will descend and attempt to claim the Emerald which enchants the Island with its protective mist. The so-called Marzian slave, named Chalco, has largely been ignored but convinced an Emerald Island native, named Pom Otanny, to travel to Gluck and submit an Aid Request at the Hero Guild.
