Back to the perch pool

Went back for the perch today. Once I'd caught some small enough baits I put my faith in the circle hooks and after two definite missed perch takes (descaled baits) hooked one chubby but small perch and 4 pike, this the biggest. I packed up early as the poplars were shedding branches in the rising wind. And no mud bath.
