I took a quick glance at Facebook this morning. This is a habit of mine; I wish folks a happy birthday, scroll until I find something that is clearly AI and/or rage bait, and then I close Facebook until the next day. This activity usually takes a minute or two, since Facebook is designed to mostly enrage these days. This morning is took less than 15 seconds. It’s time to develop a new habit. We are on vacation and I shouldn’t be looking at social media anyway. I really don’t want to know what’s happening in our deteriorating society. Here’s a couple of photos I snapped of the flora outside our condo window. I haven’t done any editing to the photos and they were taken with my iPhone 16 Pro. I had to scale down the second photo to post it here on the blog. I don’t know what kind of berries these are, nor do I really care. They’re providing a bit of happiness to the world and that’s all that matters. Just bring some happiness to the world.
