console/entry table........

The legs for the table are in limbo for now. The belt for the planer is on order and this AM I got an email that it had shipped. A 2nd email said it would arrive on this friday. When I ordered it the write up said 2-4 day delivery, so maybe that is close? In the interim I decided to play with leg designs so I could eyeball the look of it.first set of experimentsI've been running different ideas through the brain bucket since my wife asked me to make it. Because it will be narrow and delicate looking, I didn't want just plain square legs. I don't have a lathe so any turning options ain't happening. I'm starting with two blanks 1 1/2" square.first changesThe 1 1/2" square size looked too clunky IMO. The leg on the right I ripped down to 1" square and I like that size. I don't have a warm and fuzzy about the leg cutout at the bottom. The real estate sitting on the ground is a little more than 1/8" by 1". It looks too thin.
