Weeknotes: Week #41 (2026)

Some interesting things at work, lots of good cooking, and a metric ton of CONTROL: Resonant gameplay! Personal After a long, long break I was finally back in the gym this week for a couple of days. Not remotely as good a schedule as I wanna keep but a small victory nonetheless. I’ve been equally lazy about getting a haircut, and it’s starting to get to the point where my mother would’ve started teasing me to tie it up in a ponytail. I might take her up on that offer given I’ll be home in some 20-odd days. Expand imageI sent this picture to my younger sister and got the quickest roast reply I've ever seen from her. Little devil... I saw some Godzilla slander on the interwebs which reminded me that I hadn’t watched Godzilla: King of the Monsters yet which has now been remedied. I’d say it’s an easy 3 out of 5 Godzilla movie, and a 2.5 in general. Soe more monster-on-monster combat and perhaps additional screen time for Mothra could’ve taken it up to 4 stars for me.
