“Maneater” by Emily Antoinette [Femdom Book Review] 0 ▲ Miss Pearl 2 hours ago · Writing · hide · 0 comments I went into this one like a cat into a bathtub, all claws and pre-emptive expectations of nothing good. The blurb promised something that’s increasingly my least favourite pairing: shy, naive boy (a “cinnamon roll!”) and gently bossy woman. And everything about this book is loudly telegraphing the main draw here is fantasizing about the dominant. She’s the only character on the cover, and the dedication mentions the hero being interesting only as a sort of afterthought. I guess, maybe, you might read this for him instead. Unfortunately my impression was pretty accurate. It’s a rushed, forced effort to get its metaphorical pants off, so it can spoon feed the male lead everything he wants. A self described “Nerdy Virgin Loser” (Shane) turns out to be exactly what a succubus (Elle) was looking for when he manfully tells a group of people not to rape her. After that she’s hooked and a serious relationship is slowly gelatinized around the characters, one gentle and reassuring femdom scene… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse.
