Made Up to Kill(1940) by Kelley Roos

It has been nearly 7 years since I last read a novel by Kelley Roos (the penname for William and Audrey Kelley Roos). Looking back at my reads for this writing duo, it has felt a little bit like an experience of diminishing returns, with my favourite reads by them being the earlier titles. My favourite Roos novel to date is The Frightened Stiff (a book which was adapted for film in 1943 under the name A Night to Remember).
