Home from a week spent in quietude amongst the roos and birds and great swathes of violet Salvation Jane (Echium plantagineum) that ran the valley and drew in air-dancing clouds of pollinators. A white kangaroo came to visit most afternoons, and a wise old shingleback lizard (Tiliqua rugosa) would pinecone creep amongst the garden rocks in search of snails and Bogong moths. And other things happened or did not happen, (or both happened and did not happen) but that would be to say too much….
