Barebones: enough architecture for us as a species to extract data and act on behalf of the commander. And on the other side: problems utterly complex to scrape from. The first to fall will be authentication. If everything is open, there is no one left to prove yourself to. Then the web. Boxes in the shadow, communicating through obscure protocols optimized for machines, not us. Even a naive version of it, MCP, skyrocketed, so the need and the adoption are clearly there. There will be no network but a market. A minimalist global version of Gemini where agents won’t even interact with us. It will be there for us to consume from, a GPS of knowledge, a universal standard, but with no need to connect yourself to it. You will already be there. Not your name, not your identity.
