New job starting up, as is winter depression. There's been more TV, Pentiment (video game), and back to Japanese mystery fiction. So good news, I got a new job and did all the onboarding shit. Bad news, the farewell party for Old Job that I have been looking forward to is at the exact same date and time as Mandatory Orientation for New Job. So I'm bummed out about that, and have no idea how both employers decided that was the only good evening to schedule anything. I was hoping to see some people that I didn't get to say goodbye to on the last day of work and maybe exchange contact information. :( But remaining employed is more important I guess. I've spent the past week puttering around the house doing chores and going to appointments and catching up on random stuff while doing said New Job onboarding tasks. It is Early Voting week for the municipal elections and although I've pretty much decided who I'm going to vote for I've put off voting so far. Hoping for a progressive win, my…
