And that was enough motivation to improve the site. I still had - and still have - ideas to improve the site, and so I spent some hours to make it a little better. Logarithmic scale The range input slider which you use to adjust the focal length now uses a logarithmic scale instead of a linear one. What that means is, that you increase the focal length in increasing steps when you get towards the right. The left side gets more fine grained control, and the right side less so. And this makes absolute sense, since at the short end - up to maybe 100 mm - thereβs much more choice in lenses and each millimetre of focal length has much more impact. This is turn made it possible to increase to scale from a maximum of 200 mm (35mm equivalent) to 400 mm. And it also made sense to add more ticks/steps for popular focal length: the 14 mm, 20 mm and 70 mm steps have now been added. UIβ¦ No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse.
