Tempest

Tempest was a video game released on Atari, but that was before my time. I played the port on PlayStation. It’s a simple shooter game. Your blaster is on the edge of the map. You rotate around the map and shoot obstacles that are coming towards you. If an obstacle hits your blaster, the blaster jams up and you lose a life. For some reason, I forget about Tempest for a few years, and then I seek it out again. Recently I found a version for Nintendo Switch. I like the minimal design. Essentially animated line drawings. I thought that would be a neat design for an art card. I wanted bright colors instead of a black background. I used light blue and yellow brush pens for the background and different colors of fineliners to draw the map and objects. As of now, the card is available to trade on ATCdex (or send me a message).
