New paper on Adam Smith

I have posted a preprint of my new paper “Adam Smith and the ‘Absurd Prescriptions’ of Doctors” to SSRN! Starting next week, I will begin blogging about another aspect of Smith’s stance towards doctors and medical schools more generally: his lengthy 1774 letter to Dr. William Cullen.
