I’ve managed to develop a good frame, and I’m functionally strong enough, but for the most part I haven’t gained the weight I’ve wanted to. A physical trainer once gave me this reality check, telling me I should’ve seen more results with that many years of working out. I would benefit from enlisting a trainer’s help. It was part of a sales pitch, but it was the first time I wondered if I was getting the most results from my efforts. During the pandemic, gyms shut down, which interrupted my workout groove. I tried maintaining my workouts at home with videos, but it just wasn’t the same. Now I struggled to even make it to the gym, because it felt like extra time and money I had grown accustomed to saving. It became very clear I needed help. I recently started personal training again.
