Legs for Literacy 0 ▲ Clark MacLeod 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments Sheryl and I participated in the Legs for Literacy run on Sunday morning in Moncton, and spent the afternoon at the Sackville hospital ER.Starting in January I had big plans for the year. I had a treadmill now and didn't have to fight the cold. I also had an array of workout gear and weights, something like a CrossFit gym setup, to help get strong. The other side of the garage is still full of boxes, waiting for me to clean it out so I can set up a dedicated rack space. My progress was slow and I got sick, but still managed to run a half marathon in May. I had hoped for the full.Then I made plans for marathons and ultras throughout the rest of the year. That changed when race after race sold out. Canada has more demand for races than supply, and so my plans were somewhat thwarted, at least in terms of major events.First I wanted to prepare for the local Hyrox competition in July.
