Review: Chrome Industries Kadet Max 15L Sling

Earlier this year I noticed that my Crumpler and Timbuk2 bags were finally starting to fall apart. I had recently rediscovered my good old Chrome Buran messenger but it was simply too heavy and large for what I had in mind. While browsing the current Chrome Industries catalog I stumbled upon the Kadet Max 15L Sling and I knew I’d have to buy this one! Kadet Max Sling from the front It has exactly the right size for all the things I usually carry with me: A 13" notebook, tablet, a notebook, and a small bag for some cables and documents. Besides the padded laptop/tablet compartment there are also some smaller pockets for wallet, pens, etc.. At the front there is one larger pocket with a zipper with the usual keyring. After all these years I’m still not sure who actually puts anything valuable in a front pocket 😂 One feature I had completely missed at first is a pair of straps at the bottom of the bag which fit perfectly for carrying a raincoat or a bike helmet.
