So I am a TO-DO list person. Whenever I think of a task that needs to be done I add it to my TO-DO list. I have been using Asana in which you can classify the tasks into multiple lists based on importance or urgency but honestly all tasks end up in the same list. It is hard to stay organized on that. Now TO-DO lists become this massive dump yard if they are not cleaned once in a while. My usually policy is to clean them once a week but my TO-DO list is always overflowing and the promised glory day when I reach zero tasks on the list remains a pipe dream. So something thats worked very effectively for me to keep the dumy yard relatively small is the 5 minute rule. If a new tasks comes up then ask yourself, will this take less than 5 minutes of my time? If yes just try to do it then and there and get over with it. If not then yes it can find a place on your TO-DO list. Its a deceptively simple productivity hack but it is extremely effective. Conquer your tasks 5 minutes at a time.
