Anticipation. "Where are they? When will the parade start?" (click to enlarge)I live in a relatively small town. About 9200 of us live here. The town has been in existence since 1752. Just a bit older than me. As you would expect, the town has a lot of history. I grew up in a city not too much larger than this town. A smaller city or town feels like home to me.Three things I like about smaller towns and cities are the culture, traditions and relationships you develop with the people you see over and over again. No one feels like a stranger. Everyone seems friendly. The small town culture is usually one of being more personal, more relationship-oriented than larger cities.
