Recruiting Participants For Study: Reading Equations With Low Vision

Hello! My name is Veronica Lewis and I am a doctoral student with low vision in the PhD in Education program at George Mason University. I am recruiting volunteers to participate in a research study examining how individuals with low vision read statistics equations when displayed in different formats on a screen. About the study Participants will read statistics equations aloud during brief individual sessions conducted via private Zoom meeting. You will not be asked to solve any equations, you will just read them from your screen. Each session is expected to last approximately 15 minutes. Sessions take place from your own computer, in a private location of your choosing. You may use your personal assistive technology and display settings during the study. Reading sessions and interviews will be recorded via Zoom (audio, video, and screen sharing) for scoring and research purposes.
