Cholesterol Problems 0 ▲ Dallineation 3 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I got the results of the blood labs from my annual physical and I'm doing pretty good in all areas except one: my LDL (bad) cholesterol is too high. This has been something I've struggled with for years and have managed to keep it down with diet and exercise, but it's higher now than it has been in a while. I'm fairly certain I have a genetic predisposition for it. It runs in my family and it's definitely something that can be hereditary. Although I have tried walk at least 2 miles a day 6 days a week since April of this year, I have not been paying attention to my diet. I feel like I need to make some pretty drastic changes to reverse the trend. Both with diet and exercise. I want to avoid taking medication if at all possible. I talked with some relatives who have been dealing with the same issue and they have shared what has worked for them with respect to diet and exercise.
