Thank you again, DjangoCPH 2026

A message of appreciation after attending DjangoCPH 2026 as a speaker. Last week, I had the joy of presenting at DjangoCPH (Django Danmark's annual conference in Copenhagen) for the third time. While big conferences are often the norm, DjangoCPH is a rather cute and small one, with around 60 people in the room and more online. And honestly, I love it. It's like spending the day in a cozy living room with friends, talking shop about shared passions, and then still enjoying each other's presence so much that the after-party has two more after-parties. (Although I skipped the latter because grandma needs her sleep.) I also appreciate how a small organization can get an entire conference off the ground, actively works to make the room as safe as possible for everyone, and encourages first-time speakers. Honestly, one of my favorite places to be every year, even if it means traveling and crying each time I convert Danish kroner to euros. (And I love satisfying my elderflower cravings too.)…
