Alternate.

For those that shy away from YouTube and other Google products, I have now started publishing my videos on PeerTube. From Wikipedia: PeerTube is a free and open-source, decentralized, ActivityPub federated video platform. It can use peer-to-peer technology to reduce load on individual servers when videos get popular. I’m using fedihost.co as my PeerTube hosting company at the moment. I may have to manage the size and availability of my videos to manage storage space, but so far we are off to a great start. If you’d like to follow along on PeerTube instead of YouTube, my channel is available here: https://peertube.jpstorm.com/c/jpstorm/videos. And here is my latest hiking video, as originally posted on YouTube, now available on PeerTube.
