T-shirts 0 ▲ Axel Valdez 9 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I've never put together my thoughts about t-shirts until this afternoon, after reading this post by EAPL. I used to be a big fan of t-shirts that represented my fandoms. If I saw one with a cassette tape, a vinyl record, or something especially geeky, I had to have it. And my entire wardrobe was black tees, with some very dark ones for variety. Things have changed a little bit in the last 5–6 years, though. I've incorporated more color into my wardrobe, including my former arch-nemesis, the white tee. Also, I no longer go for any t-shirt with a printed cassette, or one with the name of one of my favorite movies or TV series. These days, I prefer more subtle messages. An inside joke from one of my favorite TV series, or an obscure quote, something that's only recognizable by another fan of the same thing. It's snobbery, really. But whatever. I like my t-shirts to say something about myself in a discreet way. I don't like them screaming anymore, but I wouldn't buy a plain t-shirt… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse.
