With Ina’s 14th cookbook, Simply Ina, coming out in just 16 days, I figured it was probably time to reintroduce myself! I’m Trent, and I spent six years, five months and three days cooking, rating and reviewing every recipe Ina Garten published across her cookbooks and TV show. All 1,353 of them. What started as a ridiculous Julie & Julia-inspired idea turned into a project that taught me how to cook and somehow ended in the most unbelievable way possible: making Ina’s Boston Cream Pie live with Ina herself. Now, before cookbook #14 officially kicks off the next chapter, I’m going back through her first 13 books. I’ll update this page with a new recipe every day through October 17.
