On Sunday mornings, I do system maintenance. This means running updates on all my computers. Right now, that's five machines: one Linux desktop, two Linux laptops, one Mac desktop, and one Mac laptop. Yes, that's too many, but it is what it is. Both Linux laptops run CachyOS, which is Arch-based, so there are always updates. I started with the Framework. Once it was updated and rebooted, I pulled the latest tweaks to my Emacs config, to make sure it worked on Linux. I've been leaning toward using macOS exclusively, so I haven't been testing things on Linux as much. Everything worked, though. While typing on the Framework, the first thing I thought about was how much I prefer typing on it to typing on the MacBook Air. Then I remembered how much I like the idea of Linux.
