How do I describe this week? Well, I have been feeling a bit burned out from studying and fitness, as well as reckoning with other some small things over the week. So in an act of kindness to myself I decided to slow down on a few fronts for the week. Opened the week with the annual health-check, and I am pleased to report that I beat my score from last year (not deliberately). This was also a much more pleasant experience than last year: I guess afternoons are less popular? I then proceeded to do my best to undo that high-score over the week’s dinners. It’s OK: This was entirely deliberate and I enjoyed each and every conversation. Discovered an unpatched technique on the way. And got some useful input on a problem. At some point I have developed MJ’s ability to spot therapizable patterns and to point them out in conversation instead of giving reckons, which feels like personal growth?
