Weeknotes 2026-10-04

It is October! Somehow the year is already more than 75% over. The World Public transportation in Metro Manila had a fare increase last Monday. I'd complain, but honestly the drivers already earn so little they deserve a raise. The economy is a challenge for everybody. My Week Google Fit says I walked 67,578 steps from last Sunday to yesterday, breaking the 70k week streak after a while. I missed the mark on Saturday, having to stay at home a lot. I'm still in a good spot though, in terms of beating last year's step count total. Went out early in the week to get my test results and talk to the doctor again. Results are all good, so we just observe again for a while and hopefully I won't have any medical things to worry about until 2027.
