Supermarket thoughts/end of the world

Earlier today when I was standing in the supermarket waiting for an order I had placed for collection (a new kettle), I found myself wondering, if I was locked in here because of some sort of disaster scenario, how long do I think I could last. All the dehydrated noodles, canned goods, rice and pasta make me think that I could probably last quite a long time. There’s also loads of frozen food but I’d have to hope that whereas I was waiting for my kettle, someone else was waiting on an air fryer or something. I know the staff room has a microwave covered already. I didn’t give any thought as to what the scenario might have been, I just focused on the food and drink. I have done no research or calculations but I reckon I could last a couple years at least. Hails! Reply by email
