Getting pencilled is basically the team saying "Hey, make sure you're free on these days. We might need you." which is great, untill you find out you've turned down alternative work for nothing. It's just how it goes sometimes, and it's fine I suppose. I get it. The industry can be unpredictable. But it doesn't make it any less annoying to be so close to a job and lose it at the last minute. We're officially moved in to the new house and are coming to terms with the reality of living here. There is so much needing done, though thankfully none of it's structural, just decorating, but it is a little shocking realising just how much there is to do.
