On AI Usage and Work Attribution

<p>I&rsquo;ve been making things for a long time. While the destination was always fantastic - little is as catharic as making something truly novel <em>exist</em> - the journey is oft as important. My skills and experience that have powered my career and defined my character are hard earned through chasing that creator high.</p> <p>AI threatens that. I do not harbor the (frankly, justified) zealous hatred that many artists voice; nor do I adhere to their boycotting of the tools. I am not an AI maximalist tech bro, though. I also can&rsquo;t deny that the act of creating that so thoroughly defined a significant chunk of <em>me</em> has been cheapened.</p>
