An Interesting Elevator Film – Devil

While looking for a film to watch last Wednesday, I stumbled upon a film called “The Lift” on Prime. It’s a Spanish film about a couple fighting in an elevator, and each of them finds out that they’re stuck in a loop. Whenever the elevator reaches the ground floor, it automatically brings them back to the start of their conversation and to the 10th floor where they rode the elevator the first time. I didn’t finish the film as I wasn’t really interested in their lovers’ quarrel. Then my husband said, “I know an elevator film you might like.” Hence, the film “Devil.” Spoiler Alert. I would say this film is a levelled-up “whodunit.” In a usual whodunit film, the murderer is one of the people present in the building or the area. This one, though, the one who did it is the Devil himself, and he could be anything. I am proud to say my blind guess was correct, and I wish I’d had a bet with my husband lol. The film starts with a possible suicide. I’m gutted that we didn’t explore this plot so…
