Special: Walking the coast of Lithuania: LIT1 Palanga airport to Latvia and Å ventoji

September 2026 Although I am still writing up my walks around the coast of Britain I have completed my walk around mainland Britain (although I am also now walking some of the islands of Scotland). I’ve also walked the coastlines of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man as well as most islands of England and Wales and Gibraltar. As I am still very much enjoying coastal walking I’ve also started walking the coast line of other countries. I have started to walk the coast of France, but as well as this I’ve so far walked all of the coast line of Belgium, Malta, Monaco (that one doesn’t take long!), Slovenia and Barbados and most of the coast line of Antigua. (Not all of them written up yet, however). Last year when I walked the coast of Barbados I had been torn between walking the coast of Barbados or Lithuania as I was looking at countries with fairly small coastline on this Wikipedia list and both are similar length (Barbados is 97KM whilst Lithuania is 90KM).
