Switched to LibreWolf browser 1 ▲ Offgrid Holdout 1 hour ago · Tech · hide · 0 comments Been trying various browsers the past month. I have been really trying to get away from anything Google related, which eliminates quite a few browser options (Vivaldi, Opera, Brave, and obviously Chrome) and while I am not a huge fan of Gecko (Firefox) I decided to give a browser based on that a shot. It’s called LibreWolf. It uses Gecko rather than Chromium and removes/changes a lot of Mozilla telemetry and integration. The install on Debian 13 was simple, it is clean, familiar and so far, renders pretty much every site I use/visit with no issues. Bookmark import from Brave was a piece of cake, installing extensions (so far I have just installed my Proton Pass extension) was smooth sailing, and setting up a default profile (in case I want to sync later) was easy. So for right now, it is my default browser on my Debian 13 desktop. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
