I haven’t posted this often since 2012, and I hope to keep cranking them out

This is now officially the third highest yearly output for Newsonaut, having surpassed my 64 posts in 2014. The only years when I did better were 2012 with 135 and 2011 with 169. Yes, this is my 66th post of 2026. There has been a resurgence lately in the indie web, and I’m happy to be a part of it. I was a little bit sad, though, to read Bryce Wray’s last post. He basically doesn’t feel like he has anything left to say that would be of interest to readers. It hits close to home because it appears he is only a few years older than me. I know the down sides of growing old. Health issues you never knew existed suddenly become part of your everyday life. It’s not as easy to summon the energy you once had. I can’t predict where I’ll be in a couple of years. I never would have predicted where I am now. But I’m pretty sure this blog will last for a few more years, and I’m optimistic that it will last many more years. Send me email about this post
