I guess if you’re going to sign almost a million autographs, it saves a whole lot of time if you don’t actually have to open up books. This total does not count the uncounted copies he’s already signed in the old-fashioned way — by opening up the book. The book Mr Green is promoting right now is Hollywood, Ending, his first excursion into adult fiction. Dutton Books published the book on September 22 at $32. Book Riot doesn’t disclose whether all those tip-ins were for Hollywood, Ending, or if other books, over the years have benefitted from this signing efficiency. Amazon is offering the signed version at $7.60 more than the $20.40 they are asking for the basic version, though Dutton seems to be making no price distinction between the two.
