Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Has the Juice

Yesterday a demo dropped for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse and I gave it a go. Man, I think Motion Twin has pulled it off. The movement is right for the series, anchored feet, but once you are in the air, you soar. The sword feels good, the dodge and slide are welcome. I like the magic system. I think the ability to heal is appropriate in this day and age. Don't let that lure you into a false sense of ease, the game is still tough and kicks you back to your last save, should you bite the dust. I like the ties to the Netflix anime and am eager to learn more about the world. I recorded my whole time with the demo as another test for a new gameplay recording app I am developing.
