Switching browsers... again 0 ▲ Thoughts of Widdershins 1 hour ago · Tech · hide · 0 comments I have been using the Brave browser for a couple of years now. I used it when it first came out, then switched to Chrome. Then, in the process of trying to de-Google myself, I went back to Brave, even though it is based on Chromium. My history with browsers goes all the way back to the beginning. Netscape Navigator was the bomb. Mozilla, less so, but still better than any Microsoft browser. I also played with Opera for a while. But up until Chrome was released, I used Firefox... begrudgingly. I have found recently, however, that Brave works, but is not as feature-rich as I would like. So I decided to try Vivaldi. Yes, I know it is also Chromium-based, but it has a LOT of features, and I can get pretty granular with how I want it to work and look. It also renders things that Brave seems to struggle with. But I am considering trying other browsers. In reality, though, it seems like the majority of browsers are based on Chromium or Firefox's Gecko engine. There are some, like Epiphany… No comments yet.
