tool tote finish.......

I woke up after 0700 this AM and I had slept like I was dead. I got up once for the toilet trot races and immediately fell asleep again. Me thinks I over did it yesterday in the shop. It was productive day but I'm paying the price for it now. I didn't want to do anything today except veg out in my chair. The only thing I got done from what I had planned for today was putting shellac on the tool tote. Maybe tomorrow I'll have a wee bit more energy.minor me steakThe wedge didn't expand the tenon end much. That was mostly due to the size of the wedge but also because I centered the wedge. I should have done a double wedge, one each closer to the outside faces. I don't do enough wedging so I'm still learning. One other thing I did wrong was the depth of the wedge kerf. I made it too shallow and the most of it extended out past the mortise on the outside face. I had thought of putting a shoulder at each end of the handle but I didn't.
