UAP or UFO, Buenos Aires, 1985

The other day I came across this reel on Instagram (in Spanish) about a UFO (or “OVNI” according to the Spanish acronym) that flew over Buenos Aires on Tuesday, September 17th, 1985. View this post on Instagram What’s funny is that I remember seeing this object distinctively. I was in sixth grade of school, and had recently celebrated my 12th birthday. I was in class, when all of a sudden somebody interrupted my teacher to tell her to come outside, and bam, there it was. The whole class went outside on the school patio; it was a bright, crisp, beautiful spring day outside. And that thing, whatever it was, call it UFO or UAP or OVNI, shiny and metallic, was flying above Buenos Aires, easily seen floating above our heads. Now that I think about it, if the reel is correct and the thing was so high above that not even a Mirage fighter of the Air Force could approach it, then it must have been massively big.
