One thing after another

It sometimes seems that there is just one thing after another that happens, or keeps happening- doesn’t it? Upon arrival, we went to hook up the dryer, but found out we needed to replace our plug (since this home isn’t as new as the previous one, it uses a different plug). Also, the dryer vent had no way to exhaust, so we had to buy tools and parts to create a safe vent for the dryer. We went to use the bathroom downstairs, and found out that it wouldn’t flush. I had to go to Home Depot and buy some tools and parts to replace the entire tank trim. Not so bad, but enough to keep us feeling like nothing is working. Went to do a load of laundry, and it smelled like burning. Did as much as we could, but ultimately had to contact our home warranty to find out what the issue was. Had to wait a few days for the tech to come out (Fun fact: Sears Home Service performed the service for us), and now it’s working. See the photo above with Ezra?
