I know, because I tried. They were very unpolished, and I went crazy. A new podcast that mimics our name and description has launched, and it's doing exactly that. The stories are polished, and the VoiceOver has no mistakes. It also has absolutely no depth. Or soul, if you like. And the stories generally suck, because it's entirely generated by AI.Why would someone bother? Money. There are ads, ridiculous programmatic ads offering life insurance policies and the like. It's hosted on Spreaker, of course, who will place ads on any podcast.I spend a considerable amount of time thinking about, reading about and learning possible uses for AI. I'm not against it as a tool, though it was never intended as one. No one invests hundreds of billions to give people a useful tool.
